Internship winners

As part of Red's Hot Women 2009, we offered the chance to do one month's paid work experience at some of the UK's most exciting companies - including joining the team at Red. We also offered a digital makeover, courtesy of Google, to one existing online company.

Charlotte Griffin, 42, from north London, will be joining Red's editorial team for a month. After working as lawyer, and spending the last seven years as a stay-at-home mum to her 6 and 7 year old sons, Charlotte is hoping to change direction and launch a career as a freelance writer.

Claire Redhead, 30, from Wolverton, is a marketing manager for Santander Savings & Investments. Keen to see if she can transfer her marketing skills to an industry that she's passionate about, she is heading to one of the world's largest beauty companies, Coty Prestige.
