Want to know how your favourite magazine is put together every month? During your month at Red's London offices, you'll spend time with every department, sitting in on features meetings, contributing ideas, writing, researching and going on photoshoots. You'll see how we choose the stories, design the pages and produce our covers. In other words, how every page makes it from our desks to the newsstand. A must for any magazine fan.

STAGE STRUCK

ROYAL OPERA HOUSE

Go behind the scenes at the Royal Opera House and see what's involved in getting the world's finest opera, ballet, dance and music on to the stages within this iconic London theatre. You'll also have the opportunity to work within ROH2, the contemporary programme, where new work is commissioned and developed, and see how the different areas, such as production, backstage, costumes, wigs and make-up, front of house, artist management, marketing and PR, work together to ensure the curtain goes up on a successful show.

PARLIAMENTARY BUSINESS

LYNNE FEATHERSTONE MP

There's more to an MP's life than noisy debates in the Commons. With this unique internship, you'll spend a month with Liberal Democrat MP and Minister for Women and Equalities Lynne Featherstone in her London constituency of Hornsey and Wood Green. You'll see the day-to-day work that she does in Hornsey and the issues that she deals with on behalf of her constituents. There will also be the chance to visit Westminster and tour the House of Commons.

When it comes to the world of premium fragrances, Coty Prestige is one of the best. We have this beauty giant to thank for some of our favourite designer and celebrity fragrances, including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloé and Sarah Jessica Parker. If you're a budding beauty insider, this is the internship for you. You'll work alongside the marketing team at Coty's London HQ, in Wimbledon, discovering how the company stays ahead in such a competitive market and how various other areas of the business, including PR and sales, all work together.

Red's Internship Competition terms and conditions: All UK and Ireland residents over the age of 18 are invited to enter a competition to win a month-long internship at one of the following companies: Red magazine, Royal Opera House, Liberty, Coty Prestige and the office of Lynne Featherstone MP ('the Internship Company/ies'). Entrants can enter the competition for more than one Internship Company, but may only enter once for an internship at each Internship Company. One winner will be selected in respect of each of the Internship Companies. Entrants can enter by complying with the entry form at www.redmagazine.co.uk. The closing date for the competition is 23.59pm November 1st 2010. Winners will be notified by telephone/email by January 1st 2011. If a winner of an internship is not contactable or does not respond to correspondence from Red within seven days of notification thereof, the editor-in-chief reserves the right to choose an alternative winner. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. The editor-in-chief's decision is final in all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into. Participants consent to the publication of their names following the competition and agree to participate in a feature to be published following their internship, including photographs and interview. Upon notification, winners will be contacted by the relevant Internship Company to arrange the internship, subject always to the sole discretion of the relevant Internship Company as to the period for this to take place. The winners of the internships will be paid £1000 each to cover reasonable expenses incurred in relation thereto. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to constitute an employer/employee relationship and Red accepts no liability in the event that the internship does not proceed with the Internship Company. All winners are required to have documentary evidence to verify their identity and proof of ability to work in the United Kingdom. Employees and/or family members of Red or the Internship Companies are not entitled to enter the draw.
